Dr. Igor Steiman graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in 1981. More recently, he has completed certification in clinical education through the University of Toronto’s Centre for Faculty Development, and in Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Care.
Mr. Goralczyk graduated from the Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw-Poland. Before coming to Canada he worked as Manager of Aquatic Services at the Sick Children’s Hospital in Warsaw. In 2000 Paul graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Kinesiology.
Peter Sledz graduated from the Canadian College of massage and Hydrotherapy in 1998. He has been very successful treating patients following motor vehicle accidents, work place injuries and sports injuries. He specializes in Swedish massage; deep tissue massages and trigger points techniques.
Ramesh is a registered member of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. He has completed his Masters of Physiotherapy in 2001 from the University of Melbourne, Australia specialising in the area of musculoskeletal conditions. He has 20 years of clinical experience in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. He has extensive experience in dealing with chronic degenerative conditions, post surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries and geriatric conditions. He believes in a thorough initial assessment to determine the cause of the injury, and an emphasis on patient education as key in the path of recovery. He uses manual therapy, exercise, and functional activities to facilitate recovery. Hobbies include running, yoga and travelling.
Alawna graduated in 2008 with a bachelor’s of applied arts degree in media studies and a diploma in public relations. She joined Novo Healthnet in July of 2013 bringing over four years of experience in clinic administration. Her duties include patient interaction, clinic billings, appointment scheduling, and much more.
Joe DeMiglio graduated from the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto in 2000. Joe has undergone extensive training in hands-on manual therapy treatment and rehabilitation through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
Dr. Rissis is a chiropractor with an extensive background in treating motor vehicle accidents, sports and WSIB related injuries. He is certified in acupuncture by the Acupuncture Council of Ontario and is registered with the WSIB as an acupuncture provider. He is also a Fellow of the International Academy of Clinical Acupuncture.
A 1999 Graduate of Toronto’s Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) with post-graduate training in nutrition and acupuncture. Dr. Eix has also pursued additional training through the American Academy of Pain Management and is credential eligible through the academy and through the American College of Forensic Sciences (American Medical Association) as an Evaluator of Permanent Disability (4th edition).
Alicia is a registered member of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. She graduated in the Philippines in 1999 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy. She joined Novo Healthnet since 2011.
Azra brings over 35 years of experience in the Healthcare sector. She specializes in account management and is currently managing several of the Novo clinics. Azra is a dedicated and passionate team member and she continues to grow within the Company.
Overseeing the support of administrative operations, Denise is a member of the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists (ISCEBS), U.S. and has held the Fellowship status since 2006. She also has an extensive background in Human Resources having worked at a non-profit organisation in the U.S.
Eva Tang is a registered member of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. She graduated in 1985 in Hong Kong, and has extensive experience in direct patient care in different health care industries such as acute and rehabilitation hospital, long term care geriatric center and out patient clinic.
After being an IT technician for many years, John came to realize people around him began to age and kept complaining about the pain all over their bodies. Thinking that massage can help reduce the pain, John became a volunteer at Yuan Shi Dian Non-profit organization where he learnt the basics of massage therapy. As interest grew, he went to complete his studies as a registered massage therapist. He hopes with his knowledge and skills, he can help patients reduce pain, relax and lead a happier life.
Ms. Shek has worked at our clinics since 2008. She has over 5 years of experience as a Physiotherapy Assistant in clinics and nursing homes. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
Hady is currently pursing her Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and Psychology at the University of Toronto. She joined the Novo Healthnet team in May of 2017 bringing experience in working in nursing home environments and childcare environments. She enjoys helping others and is committed to providing clients a high quality of service. She is fluent in English and Cantonese.
My name is Stephen Lam, I am currently studying Kinesiology at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. I have a great interest in the human body and how exercise can improve general health and wellness. In my spare time, I enjoy playing basketball, strumming the guitar, and spending time with family. Dr. Markovich graduated McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2001, and from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2005. She was certified in Acupuncture from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute in 2007. She has also completed continuing education courses including Independent Chiropractic Evaluations and Custom Orthotics.
Laiza Ravarra is a registered member with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario and a member with the Ontario Society for Health and Fitness. She graduated from Brock University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. Laiza has been employed with Novo Healthnet since 2005 and has also become a NeuroGym FIT coordinator for the Long Term Care /Convalescent Care division.
graduated from Sutherland Chan Massage and Teaching Clinic in 2010. Her areas of interests within massage therapy profession are varied. Injury rehabilitation is something that she has always been passionate about. She is knowledgeable in the provision of rehabilitative massage, pregnancy massage, sports massage, deep tissue massage as well as relaxation treatments.
Marian graduated from the Ontario College of Health and Technology in May 2011 with an honours diploma in massage therapy and passed her licensing exams with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario in June 2011. Marian’s responsibilities involve treating patients for soft tissue injuries and dysfunctions, also stress related tension, with a variety of massage techniques.
Krishna Patel is a Registered Physiotherapist and is in good standings with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. She completed her Bachelor in Physiotherapy from India in 2012. Krishna has gained a wide range of clinical experience by treating a number of different conditions. They vary from; pediatric, orthopedic/neurological problems and provides antenatal-postnatal care to pregnant females. Krishna believes in manual therapy, education and creating an exercise program (specific to each patient) to achieve maximum functional goals. She strives to bring a positive change in patient’s life.
April is the Clinic/Administrative Manager for the Novo Healthnet clinics in the Niagara Peninsula. She has been employed with Novo Healthnet since October of 1999, and has experience in both the clinical and administrative aspects of the clinic.
Dr. Wawrow has been practicing in the Windsor area since 1998. After receiving his Bachelor of Human Kinetics Degree at the University of Windsor, he continued on to National College of Chiropractic to receive his Doctorate of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science degrees. He is also certified in Acupunture, Low Intensity Laser Therapy and Orthotics.
Georgiana graduated in 2002 from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Romania with a specialty in Physiotherapy. After working for 2 and a half years in Romania she moved to Canada and did her equivalency at McGill University in Quebec. She worked for 7 and a half years in Quebec at the Jewish General Hospital where she was a member of the stroke team for 2 years followed by Neurosurgery, General Surgery, Abdominal & Thoracic Surgery, Internal Medicine and Outpatients.
Dylan graduated from the Masters of Physical Therapy program at Western University in 2017. Prior to this, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor in Human Kinetics in 2014. He has also completed several continuing education courses, including soft tissue release, Level 1 manual therapy, and chronic pain management. Dylan is passionate about delivering treatment through a compassionate client-centered approach, with a focus on active rehabilitation and manual therapy.
Amanda graduated PTA in 2015 and Medical Office Administrator in 2017 from Canadian College. She started working for Novo in February 2018. She is passionate about health care and enjoys helping others. Her role at Novo Windsor includes patient interaction, clinic billings, appointment scheduling, and much more.
Mythily attend St . Clair College where she attend for office administrators later on she attended Windsor Career College where she graduated from Physiotherapist assistant Mythily has a passion for improving the quality of life for her patients through manual therapy and functional exercise. Mythily’s goal is to work with patients in the shared facilitation of their rehabilitation, resulting in the achievement of each patient’s personal goals.
Helda started working full time with Novo Healthnet Limited at the Corporate Office in January 2018. Helda’s role is; Intake Coordinator, working along side with management of the PPN Network. Some of her responsibilities include coordinating all referrals sent to head office, training clinics, correlating with Insurance companies and other administrative duties.
Klara Radulyne CPA, CGA is the Director of Finance for Novo Healthnet Limited and its subsidiaries, managing all accounting and finance function including external and internal financial reporting. Her main goal is to nurture a corporate accounting culture that is adaptive to technology and industry related changes while ensuring that all Novo clients and stakeholders receive reliable, timely, and relevant information.
Melissa has worked with Novo for 3 years as the Accounts Payables Manager. She is also responsible for the administration of our exercise and falls prevention classes. Melissa is responsible for all accounts payables duties as well as coordinating hours, coverage and reporting for our exercise and falls preventions classes.
Stephanie has been a part of the NOVO Healthnet Team since 2009. She is responsible for implementing new administrative policies and procedures and ensuring they are properly executed. She works closely with our clinic administrative managers to aid as well as works alongside Novo’s EVP of Administration.
