Dr. Peter Rissis
Dr. Rissis is a chiropractor with an extensive background in treating motor vehicle accidents, sports and WSIB related injuries. He is certified in acupuncture by the Acupuncture Council of Ontario and is registered with the WSIB as an acupuncture provider. He is also a Fellow of the International Academy of Clinical Acupuncture.
Joe DeMiglio graduated from the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto in 2000. Joe has undergone extensive training in hands-on manual therapy treatment and rehabilitation through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
With his over 20 years of experience in clinical treatment, Joe combines manual therapy with expertise in exercise prescription and the use of other clinical modalities to treat a variety of conditions including sports injuries, chronic neck and back pain, whiplash, joint pain and post operative cases among many others.

Alicia is a registered member of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. She graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy. With her over 20 years of experience, Alicia provides excellence in clinical treatment, combining her extensive experience in manual therapy with expertise in exercise prescription and the use of other clinical modalities to treat a variety of conditions including sports injuries, chronic neck and back pain, whiplash, joint pain and post operative cases among many others.
Alicia has also successfully completed Level III of pelvic physiotherapy – a high level of proficiency in this specialized area. Specially trained pelvic floor physiotherapists can detect and re-train muscle dysfunction in a variety of conditions,. Dysfunction of the pelvic floor muscles may occur at any age, from bed wetting in childhood, to post-partum issues for women after the birth of a baby, to men at any age, to women’s peri-menopausal years. Conditions that can be treated include: incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain, post partum pain from scar tissue, tailbone pain, and conditions in men also such as incontinence or chronic prostatitis, dysfunction following prostate surgery.

Registered Massage Therapist
After being an IT technician for many years, John came to realize people around him began to age and kept complaining about the pain all over their bodies. Thinking that massage can help reduce the pain, John became a volunteer at Yuan Shi Dian Non-profit organization where he learnt the basics of massage therapy. As interest grew, he went to complete his studies as a registered massage therapist. He hopes with his knowledge and skills, he can help patients reduce pain, relax and lead a happier life.
Shaheen is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Management in Human Resource Management at Athabasca University. She joined the Novo Healthnet team in February 2019 bringing experience in working in an office and administrative environment. She is committed to providing clients and staff quality and efficient service. Her role at Novo Healthnet Limited in Richmond Hill includes patient interaction, appointment scheduling, and more. She is fluent in English & Urdu.
