Dr. Peter Rissis

Dr. Rissis is a chiropractor with an extensive background in treating motor vehicle accidents, sports and WSIB related injuries. He is certified in acupuncture by the Acupuncture Council of Ontario and is registered with the WSIB as an acupuncture provider. He is also a Fellow of the International Academy of Clinical Acupuncture.

Eva Tang
Registered Physiotherapist

Eva Tang is a registered physiotherapist, graduating from the Hong Kong
Polytechnic in 1985 with the professional diploma of physiotherapy. She is a
member of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and has been practising for over 30 years.She has extensive experience in direct patient care in different health care industries such as acute care and rehabilitation hospitals, long term care geriatric centers and out patient clinics.

She is experienced in orthopaedic and muscular skeletal conditions and uses her expertise in manual therapy and exercise to provide excellence in diagnosis and treatment of various conditions.

She has obtained certificates of competency and proficiency for Myndmove Therapy (an innovative functional electrical stimulation based neurorehab therapy for stroke, paraplegia and traumatic brain injury), Low Intensity Laser Therapy (highly effective non invasive treatment for soft tissue and joint pain/injury) and Compression Stocking fitting.
She has many interests in the health and wellness area, and speaks both Mandarin and Cantonese.

John Lau
Registered Massage Therapist

After being an IT technician for many years, John came to realize people around him began to age and kept complaining about the pain all over their bodies. Thinking that massage can help reduce the pain, John became a volunteer at Yuan Shi Dian Non-profit organization where he learnt the basics of massage therapy. As interest grew, he went to complete his studies as a registered massage therapist. He hopes with his knowledge and skills, he can help patients reduce pain, relax and lead a happier life.

Carol Wu
Physiotherapy Assistant

Carol earned her PTA certificate in Ashworth Collage, U.S 2012 Carol continues to enjoy her time at our clinic, taking great pleasure in seeing people obtain a more functional and active lifestyle. “It’s interacting with people that make our job special,” she declares. She Speaks English, Mandarin, Hakka, Cantonese, Hindi. Away from work, Carol enjoys spending time with family,and enjoys hiking, bowling, ice skating and Bollywood dance.

Hady Chan
Jr. Administrator

Hady is currently pursing her Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and Psychology at the University of Toronto. She joined the Novo Healthnet team in May of 2017 bringing experience in working in nursing home environments and childcare environments. She enjoys helping others and is committed to providing clients a high quality of service. She is fluent in English and Cantonese.
